New Milford Public Schools, a growth-oriented, progressive K-12 public school district in Bergen County, is looking to hire substitute nurses for the school year.

Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse of New Jersey b. Other:
Current certification in CPR Job Goal:
To provide primary health and emergency care to students by either covering a health office during nurse absences, field trips, or organized school activity.
Primary Responsibilities:
Stands in for school nurses in their absences Attends field trips as needed for medically compromised students Attends school organized activities as needed Follow school district standing orders Administer first aid as per district policy Administer medications and treatments as ordered and per district policy Document all encounters in the electronic health record/appropriate method Communication with home-base nurses Adhere to all district rules, regulations and policies Appropriate NJ certification is required.
