The New Orleans, LA office of Modjeski and Masters, Inc. is seeking Entry Level Structural Bridge Design Engineers.## What We're Looking For
* At minimum a BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University.
* Entry Level (0-4 years related Bridge Design Experience).
* Ideal candidates will have a valid EI certification, or in the process of obtaining.## What You'll Do
* Review and check standard structural design calculations.
* Perform structural analysis and design of standard bridge components using analysis software.
* Develop preliminary details using CAD software and provide information to CAD technicians for development of contract plans.
* Provide information for design reports.
* Communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing.
* Prepare project-related documents and internal correspondence.
* Perform and check quantity take-offs from contract plans.
* Review and check drawings.
* Use engineering analysis software such as LUSAS, RISA-3D, LEAP Bridge, AutoCAD, Micro Station, etc.
* Able to learn and correctly apply relevant design specifications, including: AASHTO, AREMA, AISC, ACI, etc.## Why Join Us?
