Eligibility for a relocation incentive requires proof of a change in residence and an assignment at a worksite in a different geographic area greater than or equal to 50 miles from the prior worksite. Employees must sign a written service agreement completing a specified period of employment with the FBI at the new duty station. Recruitment and relocation incentives cannot be combined.

Additional selections may be made from this announcement to fill positions within the same division when the position includes substantially the same duties, responsibilities, and qualifications. JOB SUMMARY The incumbent serves as the subject matter expert supporting all field office personnel with secure computing and digital management methodologies. They work with security staff and other field office personnel to carry out the information security (INFOSEC) program within the office.

The incumbent must stay abreast of information technology security and ensure all personnel are briefed on vulnerabilities. The ISSO builds and maintains lists of systems and develops security documentation. They ensure system security requirements are addressed in all phases of the lifecycle of the system(s). The incumbent leads the field office response to insider threats, serving as the Team Lead for incident responses.

* Selectee will be required to complete form FD-887, Request for Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, books, or small parts (less than 50 lbs.); or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

WORK ENVIRONMENT The environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, residences, or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated. Occasional travel may be required.

MAJOR DUTIES
* Serves as a Field Office (FO) Information Security (INFOSEC) subject-matter-expert (SME), supporting all FO personnel with secure computing and digital management methodologies, working with the Chief Security Officer (CSO), Security Staff and other FO personnel as required to carry out a FO INFOSEC program, or assist in developing and implementing one.

* Conducts discovery of FO Information Systems (ISs), builds and maintains lists of systems, develops security documentation, as required, and prepares data to illustrate risks associated with a system based on environment, mission, security weaknesses and data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
