Responsibilities:
- Assist clinical and non-clinical staff with navigating and using EHR software effectively and efficiently.
- Provide scribing for providers when requested.
- Collaborate with users to optimize EHR workflows and documentation practices.
- Respond to end-user inquiries, resolve issues, and troubleshoot software or user-related problems promptly.
- Conduct training and contribute to the development of training materials to support end-users in effectively utilizing the EHR system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to escalate and resolve system-related issues.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Prior experience scribing using Epic electronic health record.
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or other equivalent work experience)
- Professional demeanor.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with common software applications and the ability to learn new technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and interact effectively with end users.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to audiences with various levels of computer knowledge.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and manage competing demands.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
