As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Specialist in New Orleans, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the property, verify authorization for entry when required, and report suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence and complying with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
