Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Lead

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Mobile Equipment Mechanic Lead to join our team. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with the ability to lead, document, and ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards.

Position Overview:

The role consists of 80% Technical and hands-on duties and 20% Administrative and leadership duties. The selected candidate will perform advanced diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment and ensure all activities meet HSSE standards. Administrative responsibilities will include documenting work, updating maintenance records, and using computer-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of heavy mobile equipment.

• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and company procedures.

• Lead, guide, and support mechanics during maintenance and repair activities.

• Utilize CMMS systems (preferably MAXIMO) to record work orders, parts usage, and maintenance history.

• Complete administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and documentation.

• Maintain high safety, quality, and operational standards.

• Ensure effective communication with supervisors, operators, and team members.

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance.

* TWIC Card

• Experience with CMMS systems, preferably MAXIMO.
OSHA 30 certification required.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.

• Basic to intermediate computer proficiency for administrative tasks.

• Strong commitment to HSSE compliance and safe work practices.
