The New Philadelphia City Schools is seeking multiple part‑time Reading Teachers for the school year.
The successful candidates must meet one or more of the following qualifications:
- Have a K-12 reading endorsement
- Completed a master's degree with a major in reading or literacy
- Earned a passing score on a rigorous test of principles of scientifically research‑based reading instruction (Praxis 5205-formerly Praxis 5203)
- Holds an applicable license (PK-3, 4-9, or K-12 intervention specialist) issued on or after July 1, 2017
The successful applicants will be awarded a one year contract and will be responsible to provide small group intervention to students at one of our elementary buildings.
These are part‑time positions for 5.75/hrs each day, Monday through. Friday. The positions do not include health insurance benefits.
