Facilities Support Coordinator
Join our team as a Facilities Support Coordinator. Responsible and advanced Facilities Management customer support work in obtaining, maintaining, and providing information regarding a variety of County operations and coordinating, assigning, tracking, and closing out facilities work requests. Provides a professional and courteous response via telephone, in person, in writing and on-line. Duties include lead worker responsibility.
Essential Job FunctionsFunctions as a primary point of contact to provide Facilities Management service information and support to County departments, Constitutional Offices and other customer groups. Assigns work requests to Facilities Technicians and service vendors and provides work order quality assurance. Provides specific information about Facilities Management procedures, regulations and services. Receives and coordinates responses to requests for information and services. Resolves more difficult questions referred by team members.
Performs clerical duties, processes records, worksheets, logs, and applications for services. Performs data retrieval and entry into a software application. Updates information in the computer. Generates reports from the computer. Assists citizens, customers, and team members with inquiries, complaints, investigations, billing questions, and account information. Upon Emergency Operations Center activation, employee must be prepared to work additional hours and job duties.
Performs related work as required.

- Ability to maintain spreadsheets to track, sort, and report on a variety of information.

- Ability to maintain complete and accurate accounting and inventory records.
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions.
- Ability to work as a team with the Maintenance Supervisor to assign work orders to internal and external team members and ensure all work is completed within Service Level Agreements.

Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.
Education, Training and
Experience:
Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. Three (3) years of experience in customer service or service dispatch centers involving frequent customer contact. Three (3) years of experience using a personal computer and related software required.
Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.

Emergency Response/Recovery
Activities:
All employees will be required to work before, during, or after an emergency. During an emergency, employees may temporarily be assigned to work and perform duties outside the normal scope of their position, location, and work schedule to fit the needs of the County and its citizens.
