The Director of Engineering provides strategic and operational leadership for Pall Aerospace’s North America engineering organization, ensuring world-class execution across new product development, sustaining engineering, compliance, and innovation. This role translates business and technology strategies into actionable engineering priorities, drives delivery on commitments, and builds a high-performing engineering team.

This position reports to the VP
- Global Engineering and is part of the Aerospace Engineering Leadership team in New Port Richey, Florida and will be an on-site role (Relocation assistance available).

This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Define and execute the engineering strategy for the Newport Richey site, ensuring alignment with global business objectives and technology roadmaps.
Lead resource planning, performance management, talent development, and succession planning to build a strong, engaged engineering team.
Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and governance processes to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management to drive seamless execution and resolve technical challenges.
Advance Pall Aerospace’s filtration and separation technologies through innovation, VAVE initiatives, and obsolescence management.
Provide technical oversight for all NPI/NPD and sustaining engineering projects from concept through production release, ensuring compliance with AS9100 and regulatory requirements.
Drive rapid resolution of technical issues impacting production, quality, and customer delivery.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant engineering experience with emphasis on support and sustainment programs OR Master’s/Doctoral degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

10+ years of progressive engineering experience in aerospace or similarly regulated, high-reliability industries.

Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams and complex product development programs.
