Seeking Project Engineer – Water Systems candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Experience (functional and technical area expertise also ideal) to support professional services engagement for Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Sector Clients such as PCBOCC. This is a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Infrastructure Design & Water Treatment Engineering

JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Water, Wastewater, and Reclaimed Water Treatment & Storage Systems (Project Engineer – Water Systems) in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure Industry Sector focusing on Environmental Services Solutions for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) | Pasco County and across the South East Region (Of Country/World).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Project Engineer – Water Systems | Infrastructure Design & Water Treatment Engineering [PCBOCC

- Design, develop, and manage delivery of water/wastewater systems and infrastructure expansion projects.;
Conduct modeling, prepare specs/cost estimates, lead construction coordination, and support SCADA integration.;
Ensure alignment with EIE sustainability and resilience standards during project delivery.

- Bachelor's in Civil/Environmental Engineering; PE license required or in progress.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
5–10 years experience in water/wastewater capital projects, planning, and design-build delivery.
Skills Required
- Hydraulic/hydrologic modeling, AutoCAD, cost estimation, GIS integration, Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
Competencies Required
- Project leadership, systems thinking, design innovation, stakeholder collaboration.

- Contribute to development of master utility plans and digital infrastructure updates.
- Provide engineering insight for rate studies and infrastructure investment forecasting.

- Must participate in public meetings and interdepartmental coordination; some field inspections required.
