Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS)

Pro Sidian seeks a Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) for program support on a contract located CONUS
- Pasco County across the South East Region. The role supports Pasco County in enhancing performance, resilience, and sustainability of its water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems through comprehensive engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services.

The ideal candidate has relevant experience in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure sector. This position is a Technical Element or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Legal Surveying & Boundary Certification

- Surveying position; however, Pro Sidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time Pro Sidian employed W-2 position.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and certify legal boundary, topographic, and easement surveys supporting PCU projects.
• Oversee field crews, ensure regulatory compliance, and validate deliverables including plats and legal descriptions.
• Coordinate SUE, as-builts, and data submission to GIS and project management platforms.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Surveyor (PLS) in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor's in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field; 7+ years in utility or infrastructure surveying.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/GNSS, legal document preparation, QA/QC of survey data.
• Legal accuracy, leadership, quality control, regulatory knowledge.

Additionally, the role requires reviewing and certifying SUE and ROW documents for easement negotiations, mentoring junior survey staff, and ensuring standardization of procedures.
