Experience:

Minimum of 1 year skilled home care experience, including home health experience with OASIS training and experience.
License:
Valid state license required.

Certifications:

BCLS required.

Must-Have:
- Skilled home care experience
- IV skills and wound care experience
- General medical diagnosis and high-risk diagnoses such as heart failure, COPD, myocardial infarction, pneumonia, and stroke
- Post-operative care experience
- Strong skills in cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, and various home health procedures

Description:

This position involves providing skilled home health care visits.
Each nurse typically completes 6 to 8 patient visits per day.
Visits may include cardiopulmonary assessments, wound care, and various other medical procedures.
Candidates must be comfortable using equipment such as glucometers and intravenous lines.
A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are required for home visits.
COVID vaccination or an exemption form is required.
Flu vaccination is also required, with mandatory mask-wearing while on duty.
Hours will be self-scheduled based on the needs of the home care office.
Candidates should be prepared for varying schedules, including potential weekend shifts.
Additionally, candidates should have recent patient care experience within the last three months.
