Registered Nurse (RN) – New Port Richey, FL

A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical/Surgical Telemetry team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care to a group of medical-surgical and telemetry patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities to members of the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care
  • Promote evidence-based practices and maintain high standards of clinical excellence
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Demonstrate professional accountability and participate in ongoing professional development activities
  • Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality outcomes and patient safety
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse required
  • ACLS certification required if applicable to the department
  • Nursing specialty certification preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
