Registered Nurse (RN) – New Port Richey, FL
A leading healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Medical/Surgical Telemetry team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence and professional growth.
Responsibilities- Deliver direct patient care to a group of medical-surgical and telemetry patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Delegate appropriate patient care activities to members of the healthcare team
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient-centered care
- Promote evidence-based practices and maintain high standards of clinical excellence
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Demonstrate professional accountability and participate in ongoing professional development activities
- Support a positive, team-oriented environment focused on quality outcomes and patient safety
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Registered Nurse required
- ACLS certification required if applicable to the department
- Nursing specialty certification preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute care environment
