** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.

+ Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol activities, and/or observed conditions while supporting law enforcement-related operations at the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
