We are looking for experienced, excellent test prep instructors to help students prepare for all sections of the SAT and ACT. Must be available for in-person tutoring.

Job Description:Our instructors primarily meet 1:1 with students on evenings and weekends during the school year and throughout the summer to help them prepare for the SAT and ACT.
We strongly believe that good educators need the freedom to rely on their personal experiences and teaching methods to bring the best out of their students.
Accordingly, we are looking for superlative teachers and tutors who bring strong opinions on the best ways to help students succeed in school and on standardized tests. Teachers should be able to quickly diagnose the weak spots in a student’s academic performance and remedy them in a clear, efficient manner.
Additionally, our teachers represent the outward face of the business, so instructors should expect a portion of their time to be spent communicating with parents to keep them apprised of progress.
Successful candidates will have the following:
- Excellent communication skills, including an exceptional ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- A passion for working with students and helping them achieve their goals.
- Mastery of all topics covered on the SAT and ACT.
- Experience teaching, tutoring or coaching teenagers and providing feedback to parents.
- Impressive academic credentials that demonstrate a love for learning and educating others.
- Commitment to superior customer service, including punctuality and fast responses to emails, texts, etc.
- Willingness to learn and apply proven techniques of Pollak Tutors.
- Strong opinions and a desire to express them.
