Radio Software Verification Test Engineer to test 4G solutions. Work closely with developers, systems engineers, and customer teams. The successful candidate will integrate radio software within the base station during hands‑on testing in a cabled lab environment. Testing exercises the radio subsystem when operating as standalone device and when integrated with the entire base station infrastructure for both LTE by itself and with CDMA 3G.
Required skills:
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
- Familiarity with RF software and/or hardware, RF test equipment and techniques.
- Familiarity with IP networking theory and practice.
- Familiarity with Linux or Unix OS.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Candidate should demonstrate a high level of motivation and willingness to take on challenging tasks.
Preferred skills:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Knowledge of CDMA, UMTS, WiMax, or LTE air interfaces (LTE preferred).
- Familiarity with wireless base station architecture.
- Knowledge of digital signal processing and physical layer techniques is a plus.
- Ability with software scripting and/or automated test script generation is a plus.
