Building Science, Safety and Industrial Hygiene (SIH) Senior Project Manager/Business Development Leader
TRC is seeking a Building Science, Safety and Industrial Hygiene (SIH) Senior Project Manager/Business Development Leader for our New Providence, NJ office. This position is a Seller/Doer position working to grow our existing successful NJ and Metropolitan NYC SIH practice. Successful applicant will work on business development and management of various public and private asbestos, lead, mold, PCB, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, safety and other consulting engineering related projects throughout New Jersey and the greater NYC Metropolitan area.
Responsibilities- Senior Project Manager and Business Development Leader for projects involving these and other related services:
- Inspections/Assessments/Abatement Design/Project Oversight for Asbestos, Mold, Lead-Based Paint, and PCBs.
- Water intrusion/Mold investigations and Moisture Mapping.
- Industrial Hygiene Programs and projects
- Safety Programs and Independent Construction Safety Oversight Consulting Services
- Coordinate multiple projects with property owners, building managers, and local/state/federal agencies.
- Perform project management, mentoring, oversight and coordination.
- Develop client relationships, management and growth.
- Prepare client deliverables.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
- Work with client account managers/teams to meet client expectations and increase the services provided to our clients.
- Preparing winning proposals, managing budgets, and overseeing staff.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in successfully implementing Safety and Industrial Hygiene services
- Track record of success developing and growing accounts for Safety and Industrial Hygiene business offerings and implementing projects
- The following certifications are preferred:
Certified Asbestos Inspector/ NYC Investigator;
Asbestos Designer;
Lead Based Paint Inspector/Risk-Assessor (EPA and/or NJ); NYS Mold Assessor;
Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional. - Experience working in the states of New Jersey and/or New York Metropolitan area.
- Have a consultative demeanor and ability to work with clients and the ability to identify and offer solutions when needed.
- Experienced in business development and working with key account teams to increase revenue.
- Excellent leadership and team building skills.
- Strong Project Management financial skills
- Experience preparing proposals, managing budgets, and overseeing staff.
- Work as a team player to support our national service platform.

Compensation:
In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation:
Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
