Erickson Senior Living is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic Per Diem to join our team at Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for the upkeep of residential apartments and public areas on our campus to ensure a comfortable and safe living environment for residents.

• Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

• Provide prompt responses to resident maintenance work orders.
• Contribute to the General Services team’s visibility and reputation for problem solving and enhancing the resident living experience.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, lighting, and other maintenance needs.
• Perform necessary maintenance of HVAC equipment, including scheduled preventive maintenance and responding to emergency calls.

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a residential apartment complex, commercial building, or construction setting.
• Working knowledge of residential building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, flooring, and appliances.
• Working knowledge of HVAC.
• Experience in a Home Health environment preferred.
• Effective communication with residents and staff.
• Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
