The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia's Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

What you will learn and contribute to

Nokia of America Corporation, Test Engineer (Multiple Positions), Murray Hill, NJ. Develop and execute various software tests and test plans for our products and features. Take ownership of several automated test suites for verifying Border Gateway Protocol. Develop test plans for BGP feature enhancements. Execute test plans thoroughly to locate software bugs. Test scale and performance to ensure network resiliency under stress.

Troubleshoot issues and work closely with the routing testers and software developers to investigate and resolve bugs. Develop new automated test cases for ongoing test coverage in a Linux-based regression environment. Monitor automated regression tests to ensure that new code does not break existing functionalities. Telecommuting permitted any location in the U.S. up to 100%.

Your skills and experience

SALARY: $140,005 - $187,720 per year

WORK SCHEDULE:

40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.

-5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Must have at least 5 years of work experience with each of the following:

• Networking technologies and protocols, including Border Gateway Protocol, TCP/IP, OSPF, VRRP, Ethernet, and Spanning tree protocol;
• Software testing;
• Problem reproduction;
• Fix validation; and
• Automation of test cases.

Telecommuting permitted any location in the U.S. up to 100%.
