Overview
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's OB department, you will provide care for the OB patient during pregnancy, through labor, delivery and postpartum until discharge. You will educate the OB patient and family; care for the newborn; perform assessment skills such as the NBHS test; and assist physicians in circumcisions. The RN will work closely with physicians in providing patient care, communication, and education, as well as maintaining the department and assisting with unit-related tasks.
WorkSchedule
- 32 hours weekly / .8 FTE
- Nights
- Weekend rotation
- Current state of Wisconsin licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- STABLE certification within 6 months of hire.
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire.
- ACLS certification within one year of hire.
- A minimum of one year OB experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in EPIC computer system
