* Adecco is partnering with a well-established construction organization in New Rochelle, NY, to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking a stable, long-term position with a reputable company.

** Position Overview*
* The Accounts Payable Specialist will report directly to the VP of Finance and be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounts payable functions while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company procedures.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Process and reconcile vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

+ Enter invoices into the accounting system with a high level of accuracy

+ Prepare and maintain tax-exempt certificates

+ Assist with corporate credit card reconciliations

+ Perform scanning, filing, copying, and other administrative duties

+ Provide backup receptionist coverage when needed

+ Assist with departmental projects and special assignments

+ Communicate professionally with vendors, management, and team members

+ Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

+ Support the Finance Department with additional duties as assigned

** Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or GED required

+ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred

+ 4-6 years of Accounts Payable experience required

+ Construction industry experience strongly preferred

+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

+

Experience with Timberline and/or Viewpoint is a plus

+ Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

+ Notary Public certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification

** Pay Details:**  $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
