The Department of Business Analytics and Information Systems at Iona University's LaPenta School of Business invites applications for a visiting assistant professor position beginning Fall 2026. Qualified candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited institution and demonstrate a proven record of, or potential for, high-quality research and teaching. In addition to teaching core undergraduate and MBA courses in Information Systems, the successful candidate will teach selected upper-year field courses, which are typically relevant to their research areas.
The position requires the ability to teach both online and in-person classes, ensuring flexibility to meet the needs of students.
Qualifications:
• A Ph.D. in Information Systems or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Candidates who are ABD (All But Dissertation) and expect to complete their degree by August 2026 are also encouraged to apply.
• A strong research agenda, demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, or ongoing scholarly activities.
• Proven or demonstrated potential for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels, with a commitment to engaging and effective instruction.
