Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Location:
New York

Schedule:
Coverage includes day and evening shifts. Shift times include 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Position Overview

Provide emergency department advanced practice coverage in a community hospital setting with physician support and an established care team model.

Work Environment

• Annual ED volume: approximately 21,000 visits
• Emergency department beds: 21
• EMR:
  Meditech

Required Qualifications

• Active New York nurse practitioner license
• Active New York RN license
• Family nurse practitioner certification through AANP or ANCC
• DEA registered to New York
• ACLS
• PALS

Preferred

• Emergency medicine experience. New graduates may be considered with training provided
