Senior iOS App Developer

We’re looking for a Senior iOS App Developer who has operated at the highest levels of mobile engineering to help lead and scale our iOS platform.

You’re a senior-level iOS engineer with experience building and shipping high-quality consumer applications ’ve worked in environments with strong engineering culture, high standards for performance and reliability, and complex product requirements. You bring a product-first mindset, technical depth, and the ability to influence architecture and engineering direction.

Lead the design, architecture, and development of Loot’s native iOS application

Build scalable, maintainable iOS solutions using Swift and modern Apple frameworks

Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and data teams to ship polished features

Translate complex financial and business requirements into simple, elegant mobile experiences

Own critical areas of the codebase and make long-term technical decisions

Set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and security

Review code and mentor other engineers, raising the bar for mobile engineering

Ensure best-in-class performance, accessibility, and adherence to Apple Human Interface Guidelines

Support App Store releases, monitoring, and ongoing optimization

7+ years of professional iOS development experience

A proven track record of shipping production iOS apps used by large audiences

Experience working at top-tier consumer or enterprise technology companies, such as:

• Meta, Google, Apple, Amazon, Netflix
• Robinhood, Acorns, Stripe, Square, Coinbase, Airbnb, Uber, or similar

Deep expertise in Swift, iOS SDKs, and Apple frameworks (UIKit, Swift

UI, Core Data, etc.)

Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns and best practices

Experience integrating with complex backend systems and APIs

Familiarity with high-reliability or regulated environments (fintech experience is a plus)

Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence technical direction

Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating cross-functionally

• Experience building or scaling fintech, banking, or payments applications
