PositionNew Ulm Public Utilities Commission is accepting applications for the position of Accountant
. This position performs professional accounting, payroll, financial reporting, and internal control functions for the City and Public Utilities Commission.
- Professional accounting, payroll processing, financial reporting, and internal control functions for the City and Public Utilities Commission.
- Payroll administration and supervision of Finance Office staff.
- Audit preparation, account reconciliations, and budget support.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Two years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience with governmental accounting, municipal payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting is highly desirable.
- Valid driver's license required.
Pay range: $77,563.20 – $99,548.80 per year, depending on qualifications.
