Job Description
Work includes, but is not limited to: create attractive bulletin boards, promotional materials, and electronic signs; staff the evening and weekend hours of the Cultural Engagement Center (in coordination with other CEC student workers); conduct simple research; assist with social media; be a member of the CEC Advisory Committee; be willing to help with international student recruitment and/or culturally diverse student recruitment as opportunities arise;
serve as a mentor for new international students and/or new culturally diverse students; help organize and staff CEC events; and assist the CEC with other tasks and projects as appropriate and as assigned.
The student worker tasked with international services must be an international student (with F-1 visa).
Employment DetailsEmployment Dates: August 24, 2026 – May 21, 2027 academic year)
Working hours and days: Flexible
Regular or Occasional: Regular – Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.
Minimum age for employment: Individual must be at least 16 years of age or older.
Salary: Tier 2 — $12.41 per hour
Benefits: Student workers are not benefit‑eligible, but receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.
