Description
Prerequisite: must be a member of AVCO, our student AV club. Audio Visual Student Services Assistant will record live events, operate sound and light for on‑campus events, edit live sound and video recordings, keep AV equipment room clean and organized, help with equipment installation, and other duties as assigned. Position reports to Audio Visual Coordinator.
Employment DatesAugust 24, 2026 – May 21, 2027 academic year)
Working hours and daysHours vary by event schedule, may be up to 10 hours per week. Regular or Occasional:
Occasional. Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.
Individual must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Working conditionsLifting 20‑40 lbs., bending, kneeling, standing, frequent mobility, use of chemicals, ladders, equipment, moderate noise level, etc.
SalaryTier 3 – $12.91 per hour
BenefitsStudent workers are not benefit‑eligible, but receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.
