Position: Student Ambassador (2026-2027)

Overview

MLC Student Ambassadors represent our college by leading tours, assisting with Focus on Ministry events, welcoming visitors, and entertaining guests. Applicants should be personable, outgoing, and have strong communication skills, with comfort delivering group presentations about ministry and campus life.

Responsibilities
  • Lead campus tours for prospective students and visitors.
  • Assist with Focus on Ministry events and other campus activities.
  • Welcome guests and provide information as needed.
  • Present about ministry and campus life to groups.
Requirements
  • Personable and outgoing with good communication skills.
  • Comfortable giving group presentations about ministry and campus life.
Details

Employment dates: Fall 2026 – May 21, 2027  Academic Year).

Working hours and days: Hours vary and depend on campus events.

Regular or Occasional: Occasional. Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: Tier 2 — $12.41 per hour.

Benefits: Student workers are not benefit-eligible, but may receive campus and community benefits through student status.

Positions available: 5–6.
