Mers around the world and drive continuous improvement.

• Leading and contributing to Continuous Improvement initiatives that deliver measurable, step‑change improvements in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Operational Efficiency
• Monitoring productivity and cost performance, and initiating improvement projects as needed
• Providing daily production support within your assigned area
• Understanding key customer requirements and ensuring processes consistently meet capability expectations
• Applying technical expertise to support site and departmental needs, including special projects
• Communicating project progress, implementation status and cost impacts to plant management and supervision
• Enhancing your technical skillset by developing a strong network across the New Ulm plant and the broader 3M organization

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Prior experience working within a manufacturing or process engineering environment
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies

On site, New Ulm, MN.

Travel: up to 5% domestic/international.

The expected compensation range for this position is $98,964 – $120,957, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and paid absences.
