As a Capital Project Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Managing project timelines and budgets for assigned projects
* Leading a cross functional team to execute multiple projects simultaneously
* Interacting with multiple discipline teams including 3M plant personnel, consultants, and suppliers
* Estimating capital equipment and installation costs
* Protecting 3M intellectual property
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Associate's Degree/Technical Diploma or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institute and five (5) years of
combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment
OR
* Bachelor's or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
* Five (5) year of combined experience in Capital equipment and/or Facilities project management in a private, public, government or military environment
* Prior experience with webline, extrusion, material handling, or inspection equipment
* Team player with the ability to contribute in a matrix environment
* Proficient user of typical business, office, and technical software for tasks such as spreadsheet computation and/or project presentation/scheduling

The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
