What You’ll Do
Collaborate with hematologists and oncologists to provide outpatient care for patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
Manage an outpatient caseload of 11-16 patients daily across all ages
Support infusion treatments and minor procedures within the outpatient setting
Assist with patient education, treatment planning, and follow-up care coordination
Work closely with nurse navigators, support staff, and multidisciplinary team members
Document care and treatment details accurately using EPIC EMR
Contribute to a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to hematology/oncology services
What You Need
Required:
Current Minnesota licensure as PA or Advanced Practice Provider
Board certification in your field
Experience in hematology/oncology preferred
Preferred:
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
About the Assignment
This outpatient-focused oncology practice is part of a community-based cancer treatment network within a 686-bed hospital. You will work alongside dedicated specialists including infusion nurses, social workers, and support services to provide high-quality, continuous care. The facility offers access to clinical trials, advanced diagnostic imaging, and supportive care services such as financial counseling and mental health support. The practice emphasizes building relationships and delivering full-spectrum medical oncology and hematology care.
