Operator, Production Float

Location:

New Ulm, MN. Onsite.

An Operator, Production Float is needed in a detail‑oriented and efficient team at DSM‑Firmenich. You will need a strong understanding of quality control and safety protocols to handle our product with the utmost care. You will also need to accurately measure and label finished material throughout the process. Working efficiently under pressure enables the company to meet tight deadlines and keep a smooth production flow.

• Accurately weigh raw materials using product code, batch numbers, and SU’s to verify ingredients.
• Accurately add materials according to the work order sheet in a timely manner.
• Accurately fill a daily packing sheet; ensure packaging and labeling of finished product meets customer or internal requirements.
• Assist in the pre‑weighing of materials, washing of tanks, and materials used in daily production.
• Provide accurate count and packing sheets for daily production.
• Capable of performing or following GMPs to provide a quality product and enforce safety rules and procedures.

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand for long periods.
• Ability to wear a respirator and other PPE per company policy.
• Basic math skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Team oriented.

Salary: $28.91 per hour.
