Manufacturing Supervisor (Afternoon Shift) – 3M Manufacturing

- Coordinate staffing and communicate scheduling expectations to meet customer demands; assist production with quality or equipment issues to maintain product quality.
- Utilize resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment, technical, and personnel issues to maintain production levels.
- Provide leadership in training coordination and ensure employees receive safety training to maintain compliance.
- Approve and close production reports to ensure reporting accuracy (where applicable).
- Implement and document administrative services such as audit standards, vacation planning, overtime, and other requirements.
- Identify, document, and help resolve safety or ergonomic issues; complete safety incident reports and keep a closed loop on safety.
- Monitor housekeeping to ensure a clean, orderly working environment.
- Respond to emergency situations appropriately and administer disciplinary corrective action to resolve personnel issues.
- High School diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
- Five (5) years manufacturing and/or production leadership experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include:
- Bachelor’s Degree (completed and verified prior to start) in a related field.
- Previous supervision of direct hourly reports.
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
- Demonstrated success in a cross‑functional team environment.
- Ability to engage your team to align with a strategic plan.
- Ability to drive and influence positive change.

May include up to 5% domestic travel.

Compensation & Benefits OverviewExpected compensation range: $95,591 – $116,834 (includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible). The specific compensation offered may vary based on factors such as relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and experience.
