Position: Contract LTC Charge Nurse (RN or LPN)

Contract LTC Charge Nurse

Contract LTC Charge Nurse (RN or LPN) provides nursing care during night shifts in a long-term care setting, ensuring resident health and documentation compliance. The role supports a team of LPNs and nursing assistants while maintaining a safe environment. It offers 13-week assignments with competitive pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to residents during night shifts.
  • Monitor resident health status and respond to changes.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with facility policies and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and support LPNs and nursing assistants to deliver excellent resident care.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) in Minnesota
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • At least 1 year of experience in long-term care or similar setting
  • Knowledge of EMR systems
  • Ability to work nights from 10 p.m. to 6:45 a.m.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move residents
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Prior experience in night shifts
