• 6 FTE (48 hours per 2 week pay period) with 8/12 combo day/evening/night shift
• Every 3rd weekend rotation
• Preference to employee currently trained for the applicable role
• Employee will work on both the Specialty Care Unit and Medical Surgical Unit
• PALS certification preferred, but can be obtained after hire

• Comprehensive assessment of patient and family needs; identify outcomes based on needs assessment; establish the plan of care; supervise progress; modify the plan of care as needed.
• Maintain education and competencies to provide high quality patient care; practice skills.
• Incorporate evidence-based nursing practice considering current statutes, rules and regulations when developing the plan of care.
• Establish realistic and measurable patient outcomes in collaboration with the patient and family based on nursing diagnoses, goals, and available resources.
• Identify age-appropriate and culturally appropriate outcomes that are realistic and attainable.
• Coordinate, collaborate, and delegate to ensure safe and effective care; fulfill organizational requirements.
• Supplemental roles:
  Charge Nurse (when acting in this role);
  Preceptor (when acting in this role); other duties as assigned.

• Required Qualifications
  :
  Associate's or Vocational degree; 2 to 5 years RN experience.
• Preferred Qualifications
  :
  Bachelor's degree; 0 to 2 years critical care RN experience.
• Licenses/Certifications
  :
  Licensed Registered Nurse – MN Board of Nursing required if working in MN; WI requirements if working in WI (as applicable). Must meet at least ONE of the following: ACLS (American Heart Association) or ALS (American Red Cross) certification, or Allina in-house ACLS training within 60 days of hire;
  Certified Critical Care RN (AACN) preferred; RN-C or SCRN as applicable to department.

• Medium Work:
  Lifting up to 32 lbs occasionally (per Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy); up to 25 lbs frequently.

Pay Range: $40.79 to $61.77 per hour. Starting rate depends on experience, education, and union agreement (if applicable). Differentials may apply for shift/weekend work.
