Overview
The Senior QC Technician drives product quality by executing advanced laboratory testing, analyzing results, and managing deviations to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Applies deep technical expertise to uphold product safety, reliability, and regulatory alignment. Actively contributes to departmental goals in safety, health, environment, and quality, reinforcing customer trust and operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Perform Lab Tests:
Independently carry out routine quality control analyses following set procedures. Check results:
Review test results for accuracy and consistency before submission. - Data Integrity & Documentation:
Handle all steps of testing, including preparation, execution, and accurate documentation. - Deviation Management:
Identify, report, and process quality-related deviations (e.g., OOS) in accordance with established protocols. Conduct initial laboratory investigations for out-of-specification results, ensuring compliance with execution protocols. Identify recurring problems and escalate them to the appropriate person or team. - Inventory Management:
Procure lab consumables within financial authority to ensure uninterrupted operations. - Maintain Equipment:
Calibrate and perform basic maintenance on assigned lab equipment, following GMP and safety standards. - Problem Solving &
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Analyze special samples to help resolve lab or production issues; support broader lab performance by contributing to team goals and sharing technical insights.

- A science background and practical QC experience – a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (preferred) and at least 2 years of quality control or lab experience.

The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant’s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $35-37 per hour.
