Nuvera serves residents and businesses in New Ulm, Glencoe, Goodhue, Hutchinson, Litchfield, Prior Lake, Redwood Falls, Elko New Market, Savage, Sleepy Eye, Springfield, Hector, Arlington, and Dassel.

Nuvera also serves customers in Aurelia, Iowa.

A Cable Splicer will install, maintain, and repair services for Nuvera customers. Its most important impact on the organization is to ensure a dependable and reliable cable plant for our customers and technicians.

New Ulm Key responsibilities of the role include:

Prepare the job site/work area Review and analyze schematic drawings and use electrical test instruments

Identify problems, repair, and maintain outdoor cable facilities

Complete the connections by connecting individual wires or fibers within the cable

Rearrange wires when optical cable lines are changed

Assist with updating maps and preparing cut sheets

Verify outside plant documentation

Wage:

The wage range for this position is $25.48 to $37.98 per hour, based on education, certifications, and experience.

Experience:
