Accounting Specialist

Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist to join our client's team in New York, New York. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a background in property management and accounting within the condominium and cooperative sector. Responsibilities:

- Manage financial records and transactions related to condominium and cooperative properties.

- Prepare and analyze budgets, financial statements, and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Assist in the day-to-day operations of property management, including resolving issues and coordinating with stakeholders.

- Maintain organized documentation of all accounting processes and property-related transactions.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper allocation of resources and seamless operations.

- Utilize specialized software tools to manage accounting tasks and property records efficiently.

- Communicate effectively with property owners, tenants, and vendors to address financial inquiries or concerns.

- Monitor expenses and income to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.

Requirements

- 2+years of experience in accounting or property management.

- Familiarity with condominium and cooperative property management practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software and tools relevant to property management.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to communicate fluently in English; bilingual Spanish proficiency is a plus.
