Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of accounts payable processes while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Located in New York, New York, this role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in relevant accounting software.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the full cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

- Manage vendor relationships and address any inquiries or issues related to payments.

- Facilitate vendor onboarding by collecting and verifying W-9 forms and banking information.

- Process travel and expense reimbursements in compliance with company policies.

- Perform credit card reconciliations and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

- Utilize Ramp and Quick Books Online for accounting tasks and record management.

- Ensure proper coding of invoices and account allocations.

- Prepare and process expense reports with a high level of accuracy.

- Conduct check runs and handle ACH payments efficiently.

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including invoice processing and account coding.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Online and Ramp is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of expense reporting and credit card reconciliation.

- Ability to manage vendor relationships and onboarding processes effectively.

- Solid understanding of ACH payments and check runs.

- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
