Entry Level Accountant

Description We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to join our team in New York, New York. This is a Contract position with the potential for long-term employment, offering an excellent opportunity for growth within the accounting field. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a solid foundation in financial processes, playing a vital role in maintaining accurate and efficient accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

- Accurately input invoices into Quick Books to ensure timely payment processing.

- Verify invoice amounts and issue payments to the appropriate recipients.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

- Prepare detailed expense reports and monitor expenditures.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline accounting procedures. Requirements - Proficiency in Quick Books, with the ability to navigate and utilize its features effectively.

- Strong skills in preparing and analyzing expense reports.

- Familiarity with invoice processing and payment approvals.

- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.

- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and vendors.
