Accounting Intern (Part-Time)
BRC is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented accounting intern to support our finance team while gaining hands-on experience in nonprofit accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a current accounting, finance, or business student looking to build practical experience alongside experienced accounting professionals.
This ongoing internship offers exposure to day-to-day accounting functions and provides a strong foundation for future careers in accounting, auditing, finance, or nonprofit administration.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and process daily bank deposits
- Deliver checks and financial documents to the post office and other designated locations
- Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing financial records
- Support data entry and routine accounting tasks
- Assist with administrative and clerical projects within the finance department
- Help maintain accurate financial documentation and records
- Provide general support to the accounting team as assigned
Schedule
- Part-time internship
- 10 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Who We're Looking For
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Reliable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage routine responsibilities
