Description

We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our client's team in New York, NY. In this role, you will manage key accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and a proven ability to handle complex transactions and reporting.

Responsibilities:

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate entries.

- Oversee payment processing and vendor payments with precision and adherence to deadlines.

- Perform month-end closing tasks, including reconciliations and financial reporting.

- Verify payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Maintain and update records in Quick Books Desktop, ensuring all transactions are properly categorized.

- Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.

- Prepare detailed financial reports and assist in analyzing financial data.

- Handle insurance verification processes as needed.

- Utilize Excel to create and manage spreadsheets for financial tracking and reporting.

Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in full charge bookkeeping.

- Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop for managing financial records.

- Expertise in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Strong knowledge of payment processing and vendor management.

- Experience in month-end close procedures and financial reporting.

- Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

- Advanced skills in Excel for financial data analysis and reporting.

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
