Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist

Target Compensation: $35-38 per hour commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist:

  • Process and post a high volume of daily payments received through bank transmissions, checks, wires, and ACH transactions.

    • Apply cash receipts to outstanding invoices accurately using Aderant or similar accounting software.

    • Reconcile payment activity and resolve unapplied cash or payment discrepancies.

    • Prepare and distribute daily cash application and accounts receivable status reports in Excel.

    • Respond to inquiries from clients, partners, and internal stakeholders regarding payment activity and account status.

Qualifications for the Accounts Receivable / Cash Applications Specialist:

  • 3+ years of Accounts Receivable and/or Cash Applications experience in a high-volume environment.

    • Experience processing large volumes of daily payments with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.

    • Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems;
    Aderant experience is highly preferred.

    • Ability to communicate confidently with senior professionals, including partners and business leaders.

    • Law firm or professional services industry experience is a plus, but not required.
