Senior Tax Manager – Brooklyn

An entrepreneurial, rapidly growing accounting business is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to become a key part of its Brooklyn leadership team.

The business is acquiring CPA practices, investing heavily in technology and building a modern accounting platform designed around client relationships, automation and growth.

They want someone who can take real ownership — managing clients, developing staff, reviewing complex tax work and helping shape how the operation develops as the business continues to expand.

The work will include:

• Reviewing 1040, 1065, 1120-S, 1120 and 1041 returns
• Owning key small-business and business-owner relationships
• Leading and developing tax staff
• Managing workflow and deadlines
• Tax planning and advisory
• Supporting bookkeeping and financial statement work
• Improving processes and helping introduce new technology
• Working closely with senior leadership as the business grows

What they’re looking for:

• CPA or EA
• Strong public accounting experience
• Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager level
• Broad generalist tax background
• Strong review and client-management experience
• Previous staff leadership
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable with change/growth
