Skills Needed: Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of child development principles and of curriculum development for multi-age groups;
Ability to work cooperatively as a team member;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Power Point
Knowledge and sensitivity to domestic violence, child abuse, neglect and sexual abuse;
Strong organization skills
Excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently.

Education:
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Recreational Therapy, Social Work or related fields highly preferred  or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience with Early Childhood Education.

Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and/or young adults in a clinical or educational environment. 3- 5 years experience in project coordination

Other:

Must be able to become certified in child/infant CPR and first aid
Must meet all screening requirements, including fingerprinting and registration with the State Central Registry of Child Abuse and Maltreatment.
