Seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Part-Time Data Entry & Investigative/Crime Analyst Support Specialist Intern for data entry, data integrity, and legal document preparation. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate records related to drug-related arrests and ensuring the reliability of sensitive data. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, discretion, and the ability to work with confidential criminal justice information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry and audits of laboratory reports and other records to allow for comparison of drug trends
  • Collect and validate sensitive data to maintain data accuracy and integrity, and resolve inconsistencies
  • Conduct background research on individuals using investigative databases when needed
  • Prepare subpoenas and related legal documentation as directed
  • Maintain and update the office's in-house database and reporting dashboards to ensure data accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist attorneys and staff with other data retrieval and reporting needs, as needed
  • Provide other administrative and clerical support as assigned by supervisors
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of criminal justice records and investigative materials
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required and candidate can be currently enrolled in a college program pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data organization and basic formulas)
  • Ability to review technical laboratory reports and accurately extract relevant information
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy within in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational, time-management and multi-tasking skills, including the ability to take initiative, prioritize duties, and work both independently and within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Data Management, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a professional setting
  • Familiarity with criminal justice terminology
  • Experience preparing subpoenas or other legal documents
  • Experience using investigative research platforms such as Accurint and CLEAR
Work Schedule
  • Part-time (hours can be flexible, but must meet office needs
