• Typical Business Analyst Responsibilities
  • Strong experience in querying, mapping and documenting data
  • Experience leading and directing others to achieve measurable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate customized solutions to meet business requirements
  • Advanced experience working with Agile/Kanban software development processes
  • Advanced skills using a variety of tools to document workflows and data mapping including but not limited to Excel and Visio/Lucid
  • Ability to work be comfortable with ambiguity and to be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a matrixed organization
  • Understanding of analysis and documentation goals throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ability to facilitate decision making through workshops
  • Ability to learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines
  • Ability to independently manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to successfully manage and coordinate simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams
• Financial Services is a MUST
  • Asset Management Background -->
    Specifically FIXED INCOME (Loosened the need for FIXED INCOME - but ASSET MGMT IS A MUST)
• 100% needs to be an IC - Has to work independently (THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT)
  • Team doesn't have a presence in Seattle
    • This is a new area with NOT a lot of documentation. Has to be able to take initiative)
      • Has to know what their 30/60/90 looks like.
        • Cannot be afraid to get their hands dirty, identify problems, come up with solutions, bring the right people to the table.
• Stakeholder Mgmt is very important
• Working Knowledge within Jira
• Have some sort of technical lingo
  • Will be working with Technical Teams
• Strong Data Analysis within different Databases
  • SQL (Simple SQL)
• Strong Solutioning Experience
  • Someone who can take a large initiative and come up with an entire solution
    • This is the tasks for this initiative and be able to delegate the tasks to the team .
    • Not someone who is given tasks, but the person coming up with the tasks themselves and handing out to team to take care of

• Previous Decommissioning or re-architecture initiatives
  • A lot of Decommissioning of applications current happening at MS/Parametric

• Current initiative :
  Data Center Decommissioning
  • Plenty of applications on that data center that are being refined (refining new homes for the functionality)
    • Work with business to understand what the current business looks like, document the user journey's, work with Tech to understand the system flow, work with other members of team to identify solutions / understand where these solutions will move to.
    • Ability to draw out user journey's
      • Work with the business to write user stories

• 15+ Years Exp -- this is a Sr. Role. This candidate MUST be able to work independently
• HM wants to know candidates have worked in environments like this one
  • "when you joined X Company. What did your 30-60-90 look like which got you up to speed "
