What You'll Do

The Role

Are you energized by turning data, operations, and communication into meaningful career development impact? As a Coaching & Career Link Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in advancing strategic talent initiatives within our Learning & Development team.

Reporting to the Firmwide Director of Coaching & Career Link, this role supports the operational, analytical, and communications backbone of our coaching programs. You'll help ensure seamless execution of coaching engagements, measure and communicate program impact, and drive continuous improvement across our Coaching & Career Link function.

What You'll Do

* Program Operations & Coordination:
Oversee day-to-day Coaching & Career Link operations, including managing database profiles, tracking enrollment and coaching milestones, maintaining process documentation, and ensuring timely, accurate communication with participants and stakeholders.

* Data Analysis & ROI Reporting:
Compile, clean, and analyze program data to measure participation, engagement, and longitudinal outcomes; develop dashboards, reports, and PowerPoint presentations highlighting return on investment and key performance indicators.

* Survey & Insights Management:
Design, distribute, and monitor coaching surveys; evaluate feedback trends and translate findings into actionable insights that strengthen program effectiveness and long-term impact.

* Communications & Materials Development:
Draft and respond to communications for participants, internal stakeholders, and vendors; support the creation of presentations, marketing materials, and program guides that clearly articulate program value.

* Vendor & Financial Management:
Serve as a primary liaison to approved external coaching vendors, process invoices, and track annual coaching expenditures with accuracy and discretion.

* Process Improvement &

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner across Coaching & Career Link and the broader Learning & Development team to manage competing priorities, identify workflow efficiencies, and leverage automation and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance strategic impact.

What You'll Bring

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* 2-4 years of experience in a law firm, professional services, Learning & Development, or a related coordination role.

* Experience with learning management systems, collaboration platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and survey tools.

* Strong ability to organize, interpret, and present datasets in meaningful ways that inform decision-making.

* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through with precision.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels.

* Adaptable and composed in fast-paced environments, maintaining professionalism when managing shifting deadlines or urgent needs.

* A proactive, curious problem-solver who actively seeks ways to improve processes, adopt new tools, and elevate how work gets done.

* Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.

Compensation

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position in each of the below locations. This range may differ based on your geographic location and cost of living considerations. At Kirkland & Ellis, we consider compensation more than just a base salary. Compensation Range:

Chicago: $75,000 - $84,000

Los Angeles: $75,000 - $87,000

New York: $75,000 - $90,000
