Operations Analyst, Trade Control:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Operations Analyst, Trade Control for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's New York office.

Operations Analyst, Trade Control - Job Description:
The selected candidate will contribute to the overall success of the Stock Loan Middle Office by ensuring that individual goals and initiatives are executed in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. The role involves compliance with governing regulations and internal policies.

Operations Analyst, Trade Control - Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operational activities in support of the Stock Loan front office with a focus on trade life cycle management, trade control, and client service

• Negotiate with stakeholders to complete tasks within given deadlines

• Ensure data accuracy and completeness

• Follow Scotia's policies and procedures to mitigate risk

• Utilize strong communication, interpersonal, and diplomacy skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders

• Manage and escalate requests, inquiries, issues, and errors timely

• Follow established procedures to identify problems related to securities settlement

Operations Analyst, Trade Control - Mandatory Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in banking/capital markets operations

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to negotiate, influence, and interact professionally with diverse groups

• Demonstrated knowledge of analytical problem-solving and process engineering techniques

• Strong technical abilities including knowledge of SQL, VBA, Access, Excel

• Sound understanding of operational processes

Operations Analyst, Trade Control - Nice-to-Have Skills:

• 1-3 years post-graduate experience in capital markets, finance, and banking

• Experience in process improvement, business analysis, and solution implementation

Operations Analyst, Trade Control - Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.
