Housekeeper / Family Assistant
Location:
Uptown Manhattan, NYC
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday (later afternoon/evening hours)
A warm, reliable, and proactive Housekeeper / Family Assistant is needed for a private home with a young child. Responsibilities include daily cleaning and organization, post-dinner kitchen clean-up, preparing simple meals, running errands, managing packages and light household coordination, and assisting during gatherings. Light driving and general family support are part of the role.
A professional cleaning service supports the home weekly; this position focuses on daily upkeep and occasional deeper cleaning as needed. Seasonal travel during the summer months is required, with a modified weekday schedule.
Candidates must have prior experience working in private homes, a valid driver's license, and be comfortable in a household with a child, offering occasional support to parents as needed. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and a true team player.
Compensation & Benefits:
• $45-$50 per hour
